05-Jan-2003 Development rests in 2003. I plan a new Java book project this year so there is no time left for other activites. Perhaps I'll use again jRequest to try out different things and technics.

What is jRequest?

A simple change management system as a candidate for trying different Java technologies on Linux.
'jRequest' allows users to write their requests (and ideas) for a given or upcoming product. These requests are stored and handled by the system for:

Although 'jRequest' has similar functionality than a bug tracking system there are differences. The focus here is to look forward to upcoming releases and to help to decide which features should be added next.

At the moment there is only a very rudimental subset of a web interface available based on servlets and JSPs. It is intended to get some experience with this technologie before framework like Struts are evaluated as base for the next prototype.
